Only 2 Audis confirmed their invitation for participation for LeMans - Audi Sport Team Joest and Audi Sport North America. Two Peugeots confirmed. LMP2 has Team Essex. LMGT1 has Luc Alphand Adventures and (2) Corvette Racing. LMGT2 has Risi (2), Flying Lizards (1), Virgo Motorsport, Team Felbermayr-Proton, Af Corse and BMS Scuderia Italia. GT2 so far has 6 F430's against 1 RSR. The other 14 teams who didn't respond still have until midnight (past that now) to reply for the same category or in another.

Time will tell how the remaining slots on the grid begin to take shape. Not to worry as there's always a waiting list!

Two works and two privateer entries. Could be a smart move on declining the third entry. Why? one less R15 = definite cost savings along with the fact it's not proven as the R10. This also would "free-up" several of the Audi works drivers to drive the R10 for Kolles.

The big question is will there be the third R15 as stated by Audi - "Audi Sport Team Joest will field three new R15 TDI prototypes in the 24 Hours of Le Mans." OR . . . with the purchase of the R10 by Kolles the game had changed direction??
