Default wow, I hadn't realized you'd spun too. Monday was a bad day.

I'm glad you came out of it OK. Could have been much worse (as we all saw).

At least Tuesday was a great day, no incidents.

Default The instructor's crash was also due to overly worn tires...

I was on street tires (cheap Kuhmo's), with about a half-life left, and the car would consistently move off line by 2-4 feet going that river. I can only imagine what having worn RA1s would be like... End the end, you did the right thing because you hit the brakes during a trajectory that kept you away from hard objects.

Default About the S4

My understanding was he had almost lost it once before earlier in the run. The car was definately doing something squirrely. The worn tires would explain it. I was on the track at the same time with my instructor who is a nut on his tires and we had no problems through there and were hitting it pretty fast

Default several spins, at least 2 crashes

two instructors had crashes, one was in a student's S4 with the instructor driving (probably totaled). It was pouring rain all day.

Default yeah, that river was interesting....

I noticed exactly the same thing, it'd move me a half car width over every time - but thankfully in a predictable manner, as long as I had the car balanced. At least you can *see* those rivers.

Default the Glen recieved between 3-5" of rain on Monday...

If it wasn't raining, the track was closed due to thick fog or lightening... a very interesting day at the track. I think we lost 2 or 3 hours to weather related delays.

Default Yeah, the concrete was like ice out there...

I was sliding like crazy every time I hit it... Luckily I wasn't pushing it since this was my first time out there

Default My dad actually passed you just after you had spun out I think...

cuz he had commented that a red M3 had spun out in the S's.

I think like 3 people spun out that last run! In 3 seperate places... it was nuts
