Saw an article (in the SCCA paper The Wheel) about them adding a turn 16 to Thunderhill. Thoughts?

There push is because they feel exiting into the pits on a blind turn before the straight is bad. Even though this has been going on for 10 years now.

Default Seemed like a decent idea to me

Partly the exiting to the pits, but mainly cause that is one of the very few places on track where drivers screw up and hit walls. I don't think it will change the character of the full course very much.

I wasn't as sold on his sales pitch for how this would help the "half courses", but who cares?
