Default Trudat. <hijack> how did you like the euro-delivery experience?

Any complexity getting it shipped from POE (port of embarkation)?

Danke!

Default ALMS will quickly go the way of Chump Car. Could be bankrupt by end of year, more likely

next year with exodus of top tier teams and sponsors as well as top tier teams

GT2 is not enough to keep a series alive.

The customers weren't happy, so they left.

Team entry fees and sponsors keep the series alive, not ticket sales.

Default <hijack> ONLY way to buy a new car!

No problems at all - took to EH Harms in Munich (due to our short time (only put 330 miles on it) -> took delivery on Wednesday, turned in Friday (all must be done on weekdays). Paperwork was a breeze, they gave us the front plate (rear stays on for id purposes) and took us to the UBahn station nearby. The car was shipped out of Bremen via the Port of Houston then trucked to the dealer in Dallas. Ship's departure was a couple days later than anticipated and stopped at a port in the NE US first. I followed the ship the best I could via maritime tracking. Shipping was already included in the cost. There was a couple from Chicago turning in a Volvo XC90 at the same time, they had a great deal..got two RT airfares free (return was from wherever they wanted). They put about 900 miles on their coming from Stockholm to Munich...they were going by rail to Rome via Milan then home. The Audi personnel were absolutely fantastic. John and I had a one-on-one factory and museum tour, lots of good food and opted for the NH Ambassador for the freebie night based on our specific plans (choice of three hotels). The build date on the car was 6 October and the car arrived in Dallas on 12 January. We've asked ourselves why didn't we do this with the two special order Mercedes! We got a lot of neat items from Audi prior to our departure.
