Solo 1 double-header this weekend at Sanair raceway
Provincials saturday on the big track, and normal club race on sunday on the tri-oval.
as always, it's free for spectators and there are instructors for the novices. cost of the day is about $50-60US
format of the day is 2 sessions of 15minutes practice (lapping), then in the afternoon 3 timed runs of 4 laps each (one run is the sum of 4 laps, not fastest lap)
Saturday night there will be free camping at the track (usually a big bbq/party).

I can recommend this event...
I highly recommend this event, and not just because I'm the organizer! It's not at all expensive, you get to try two different tracks, and both are fun. It's like HPDE with a competition thrown in. Fun Fact: CART once raced on the tri-oval we'll be using Sunday.
