Default Track Junkies: What do you think of Road America?

I need to pick a spot to do my 2 day advanced racing school with Skip Barber, and the sooner the better.

Le Circuit Mont Tremblant doens't do anything special for me, plus it's a longer trip, and that's the only other option this summer. Otherwise it's Watkins Glenn in September, or Sebring in October. Don't really want to wait that long.

What are your thoughts on Road America (because it looks like that's where I'm going)?
Mwuahah.

Default It's OK

Fun track in a reasonably fast car like the advanced Skippy cars. Not very technical but requires ***** in lots of places to go fast. RA is a track that should be experienced at least once.

Be aware that Skippy does not usually run the full course, unless they have changed their program. Almost all their schools are done by making a hard right before T14 and connecting back to T5 (which becomes a right hander). Still a fun config but might not be what you were expecting.

Default St. Jovice and Mont Tremblant kick the hell out of...

Wisconsin (small apologies to the cheezeheads) and 'Le Circuit' is quite a track. Both it and Road America qualify as "real race tracks" IMO, but the difference in local geography/atmosphere/culture/cuisine/weather makes it a no-brainer.

Default Hey, that's...

Cheeseheads, not "cheezeheads". And what's wrong with brats and beer?
