Anyone else read Road and Track? New M3 is cover story. Some impressive numbers...

420 bhp
295 lb-ft
0-60 : 4.5 sec
1/4 mile: 12.5 sec
Although still a concept car, the engine has been confirmed. Sticker is estimated to be between 55k and 70k.
Looks like the M3 will now be a direct competitor of the RS4. Do you think Audi be upping the ante by increasing performance of the S4 to match or be happy with the RS4 being the M3 equal?

Wouldn't the S5 be a more direct competitor?
4.2l V8, manual transmission, coupe configuration... seems like a match.
I'm actually not that thrilled that the M3 has moved to a V8. I understand that the engine is lighter and that's great, but I absolutely LOVE an inline-6.
