Anyone here attend a college in Boston?

I went to look at UMass Boston and Suffolk University today. UMass was great, but Suffolk really caught my eye and fits my want to live in the heart of the city. Has anyone here graduated from a boston college or university? how is student life in the city? Is it worth bringing my car or should I leave it in CT?

Any input whatsoever on student life in Boston is greatly appreciated. TIA!

Knowing how you like you car so much I would strongly suggest keeping it CT...

at least for your first year or two. Parking on a streets of Boston is a royal PITA plus you run the risk of having your front and rear bumpers transformed to look like a shrapnel filled bomb as other cars push up against your car as they try to park in a space in front or behind you.

Did you like Suffolk?

I plan on going into International Relations/International Affairs. I really like the campus in the urban setting. Did you study aboard? Were you fortunate enough to get on campus housing?

MBA....nice Rye. I wish I hand gone that route earlier in life. Guess I still could but

to many bills to pay to spend the cash on education. Yeah I know I can get a student loan but I don't want another loan hanging over my head.

If you're looking at urban schools in Boston - check out Northeastern.

More selective than the others, but if you've got the grades/scores it's definitely worth a look. Just broke into the top 100 universities in the nation and will continute to rise in national recognition over the next 10 years. Seriously up and coming place. Great on-campus housing -- designed by my firm of course! ;-)

well that actually seems to fit my criteria pretty good =)

I'm not TOO big on parties. I find friends wherever I go, but I was raised in Poland so I guess I'll fit in with the europeans too. Thanks for your help! I think I'm going to do early action for suffolk =)
