Rain in the Hartford area now. I predict a non-event...especially where you are.

Default Ack! Rear brakes on the truck are done, but still have the fronts to go.

Had to buy an air hammer to get the rear discs off the hubs. What a PITA. Went to install the stainless rear line only to find out that the fitting from the front is a different size. Grrrr. Got the rear buttoned up and it starts to sprinkle. Gonna eat some lunch, pound a few beers and then assess the weather situation before tackling the front brakes.

Default I'd hold off.

BTW, you are lucky to have discs on the rear. That's one of the things that makes the Suburban so hard to stop: rear drums.

My list:

Miata: emissions test due
Coupe: slow leak, rr tire
Suburban emissions and front pads
A4: Exhaust leak at flex joint
Nissan: emissions

The only car that doesn't need something is Robyn's A6 - the highest milage car we own.

Don't you have an inside place to work at your store?

Default It's a strange rear brake setup (compared to the cars I'm used to)

The rear calipers are dual piston, however the parking brake uses shoes that clamp up against the inside of the rear rotors.

The store is just that, a store. There's no place to pull a car into to work on it. However I've got installers all around that do everything imaginable.
