Hi everyone,

I was finally able to get my car to Clair Audi on Monday because of a loose feeling in the steering wheel and a *lot* of whining from the car as well. I was worried that something like the serpentine belt was going to break (since that's happened once already, in traffic no less) or that the power steering pump was going to have to be replaced. I wasn't too worried financially, since everything's covered under the lease warranty. I was just worried about the time.

Anyway, it turned out that a clamp on a hose was loose and fluid was leaking out. The whole fix took maybe 45 minutes with everyone else there. Bill M. was the service guy. He even noticed how little I drive since I only have 16,150 miles on the car after 26 months.

So, while I was waiting, I noticed Clair put a 2003 RS6 on their showroom floor (lease ending?), going for about $75,000...*ouch* VERY nice car, but that price tag....

Brought in my 04 S3 for 5k mi service. I sat in it for a good half hour. And I thought my alcantra recaros were comfortable...

...person who owned it, traded it in for a Porsche. Did not seem like a end-of-lease issue.
