I just spent 2 weeks on the road to Phoenix (it was hot), Dallas (it was really hot) and San Jose CA (it was nice). I drove a series of bland rentals. I got to MHT at midnight last night and drove the A6 home with a smile on my face.

Mangaed to play:
The Tribute in Dallas- recreations of famous Scottish links holes inlcuding 1,17 and 18 from St Andrews. Was fun. A must play if you get to Dallas. Shot 45/45 with a 3 putt on 18 to finish

The cousre at Wente Vineyards in Livermore CA. A really nice Greg Norman course that winds it's way up and down through the vineyard. Shot 40/45.

I was going to come home last weekend from Dallas and then go to SJC on Monday but those f-ing terrorists screwed up airline travel so I spent the weekend in Dallas and went to San Jose from there. I'm now paying the price as I am down for the count with a wicked cold. I ended up drinking (at least a little bit) almost every night for 2 weeks. Man that eventually beats you up.

When I travel for work I Fed-Ex myself a box with my golf essentials: Two sleeves of *****, glove, and shoes. I can't imagine playing in sneakers these days and ***** are just so damn expensive at the course.

I rent clubs as well, too much hassle bringing my clubs for one or two rounds. Plus if I am playing bad I can blame it on the clubs.
