Hartford area GTG Wrap Up and Awards.....
What a great turnout, we had at least 38 enthusiasts show up tonight, and I might have even missed a couple. If I did miss you, thanks for attending and I'm sorry I missed you on the attendee list. Many of you traveled quite a distance to attend....we had cars from Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York gracing the Krispy Kreme parking lot; thanks for making the trip.
I met some interesting folks and saw some interesting cars, and even darkness arriving earlier than I'd have liked, didn't seem to impact the party.
We had a VAG COM moving around clearing codes and a failed attempt at a NASCAR Pit Stop with some very slow tire changing. Lots of hoods were open accompanied with enthusiastic discussions. I even witnessed a debate on how many nights the left over steak in the refrigerator would be safe to eat. We covered all topics. What happens here stays here!
As far as the awards go, I plagiarized both the awards and show format from Boston Driver and the New England chapter…so hat's off to them!
1)Car I'd most like to take home tonight - DAP - Wins an Audi baseball cap
2)Most "Bling" - Son of Mecca - wins a little more bling with genuine Audi valve cover caps
3)Car most likely to be stopped after the GTG - OettingerA4 - wins a genuine Audi Sport Pen to sign that citation.
We'll have to do this again!

Thanks for posting the pics and the recap. Sorry again that I couldn't make it.
Nice turnout and I love the pit crew photo of the guys changing the tires in the lot.

I haven't gotten a chance to clean it all up yet and take some pics... hopefully this weekend
I now have an black 01.5 6spd S4 with the following:
K04's
apr k03 software
apr downpipes w/ test pipes
uuc vm3 exhaust (yes the car is loud as hell)
h&r springs / bilstien shocks
ESC stage 1 rotors (the 993TT rotors)
apr bipipe
B&M ss
and some other random stuff right now. If this car sounds at all familiar it is because it's Cadiburns old car :-) I'm running winter tires right now cause his summers were shot. I was thinking i could probably eek these through till winter but its not looking that way. I think I'm going to pick up some Flik justices soon.
