Default Hey guys I live in Massachusetts about 35 min from boston ...

I'm gonna be ordering a suspension kit and control arm kit, and if anyone was dearest enough to help me out with installing it all, i'd be willing to pay some money. I just don't want to get killed on labor from an independent shop. I have a guy who is reasonable, charged me 350 (labor) for the TB replacement. But i know this job would be much more.

If anyone would be willing i'd appreciate it greatly.

Thanks

John

Default Suspension install not an easy DIY job...

I would suggest checking Brian's Garage in Needham, just off Route 128 on the Newton line. He charged me $360 to install my coilovers.

Not sure how much he would charge for control arms.

35 min in which direction? Shine Racing in Walpole has done all of my suspension work.

Default Boston Driver= new rims?

Wow it almost looks like a 4.2 minus the flared fenders. Did you score em locally or on AW classifieds?

3 sets of rims now?

Default Hijack in progress

Yeah, my summer P Zero Asimmetricos were fun until last week when I used the Kenmore Sq. to Bay State Rd to Storrow Drive short cut. Found a meter during a Sox game, yes, but a nail deflated my tire during my dinner there.

AAA had a jack (audis aluminum ones suck), but we forgot the hand brake, so you can imagine the rest...

I am hoping a local AW A8er will swap his 18" L rims with me, which would keep me at three sets. Winter 5 spoke chromies (picposter), summer S4, in between pothole seasons with OEMs.

Those 4.2 rims have been on CL locally on occasion, but usually 600-800. They also look sweet on A8s (hint) j/k
