i just got a ticket for parallel parking...
okay- this has got to be the biggest BS ticket ever! i was parallel parking in portsmouth and a cop pulled up behind me after i was already in the spot and gave me a $150 ticket for "unsafe backing" because i was reversing on a one-way road into oncoming traffic, yet he writes light traffic on the ticket because it was 11pm on a wednesday night and he was the only car on the friggin road. has anyone heard of this?? it is complete crap and i am not paying it. how the hell else are you supposed to parallel park- nose in?

That is classic.... according to the driving guide I got at 16, you back in to parallel park...
I guess next time you should drive the wrong way up the street so that when you back in you are legit???

That is one of the most ludicrous things I have every heard. Sounds like a cop that was bored and
was under quota last month so he's trying to make it up this month.
