I saw "300" last night, in the Jordan's Reading IMAX theater. That place has a CRAZY sound system.
Movie was entertaining, but the volume was about 2x what a normal theater would have been.
I hadn't been there in a while and had forgotten how impressive that theater was.

yeah i saw it there last week and it was nuts, but i had to sit about 5 rows from...
the front and it took about ten minutes for my eyes to adjust to what was on the screen, but i do agree with the sound, especially the bass that hits in the seats.

ugh, i find the best view at jordan's is around 2/3's to 3/4's of the way back...
the images are SOOO big that any fast-action will quickly give you a headache like you're watching a federov v. federov match in fast-forward. i saw batman begins at about halfway back, and some scenes were painful to watch.
we always get there a good 45-60 minutes in advance to get in line so we can secure our preferred rows.
