Rt 20 in Wayland, driving home last night, as the station was closing up, they changed the prices and 93 octane is at $3.05/gallon :-/ Now this is the station that is usually lower than most...so I'm sure other stations will follow suit fairly soon...

The Mobil I go to in Mansfield still had 93 oct at $2.95 9/10 this morning.
Hopefully it won't hit the $3.00 mark later today. Going to be taking the train into work more than usual to help save on gas use. Mrs. AdMan also just started a job in Boston so she is taking the train as well.
The way I figure it she use to have a 60 mile round trip daily driving commute and was filling up her Explorer once a week for an average $45/fill up. Now with her $181 dollar per month train pass I figure that she is going to be commuting 21 days per month so that makes the price per day at $8.61 which translates to $43.05. So we're basically saving around $2 per week. Not much savings now that I think about it. Oh well.

Luckily Mrs. Adman's Explorer takes 87 oct which is between $2.59 and $2.65 / per.
If she had to put 93 in that beast I think I'd cry seeing the $60 fill up charges.
