so ture. they should be in eco boxes so they can save on gas/decrease resources used or awd cars.
why can police forces in other parts of the world use smaller and lighter cars, like in Europe?
how about a ford ranger at least?
How about diesel engines in all of their vehicles?
I should add if it was the cops own vehicle then cool.

I've seen a black F150 with a cap and a H-D sticker..
on 93N pulling people over back when I worked out in Tewksbury.
There was also a Red Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Sedan with tinted windows and a black E39 M5 (Yes, really)

Oh i know...becomes more frustrating when you realize what you pay taxes for. I see so many cruisers
sitting and running for hours on end with the officer inside playing on the laptop. Not to mention they always seem to find a way to accelerate 0-xyz as fast as possible for not apparent reason which im sure is great for fuel economy. Id love to take a look at their fuel expenses in a year.

I used to commute from Springfield to Boston and saw those unmarked vans daily..
I saw them mostly out in the central to Western part of the state. They have /used to have a big "sharkfin" on the back of them that presumably houses all the antennas that make them easy to spot
