Default NAAC High Performance Driving School to be cancelled?

Maybe.

Spring sure seems to be taking its sweet time coming this year. It's hard to get geared up and psyched up to get back to the track, but the season is upon us. The North Atlantic Chapter hosts a great season opener event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway each Spring, an event that is in danger of cancellation due to lack of participation. If you are interested in attending, you need to sign up today; today is the deadline for the club to cancel without penanty, and NAAC will have to make a choice by the end of the day. If you procrastinate, the event will cancel.

Economy got you down?
This some of the cheapest track time to be found. Fuel is cheap. The event is reasonably local.

Car not ready?
Weather is supposed to be great Saturday. Get Busy.

Apprehensive about attending your first track event?
NAAC does a great job with new students, and there are always a lot of first timers there to share the experience.

Plan on going but think you can just sign up in a few weeks?
Don't bet on it.

This is great opportunity to learn some new skills or hone some old skills. If this event does run, it sure looks like it will be lightly attended, which means small runs groups and extra room on the track.

This event is one month away. Winter is over! It's time to play!

Motorsport Reg

I would sign up but I'm waiting for the "too soft to fail^H^H^H^Htrack" suspension bail-out.

I'd love to but can't quite justify dropping $360 on it right now....

Default Wickedated's response was exactly why I didn't post in this fashion Henry..........<EDIT>

-Delivery-

Its the headline wording, which if glanced at and not completely read (the body) one or more will come away with "cancelled" before the BoD even meets to decide.

An example is Wickedated's response.

We meet tonight. AFAIK, no decision has been made as of yet.

No, it's not cancelled yet. But if it is all registered participants will get a 100% refund.

Default At least he read it....kind of like "free track time"...it's urgent if you're on the fence, sign up

we've run out of time to be polite. We're trying to get those folks that are thinking about it to commit.

4driver4 is the only one posting about this that has really identified what needs to occur, and by when, for this event to happen. We've been dancing around the issue...the forum gets more visability than the email and right now we need people to register today.

Sometimes you have to lay it on the line.

Default i would love to go. but i don't think our kitchen/bath remodel will be done by then. If i take off

to have fun and leave everyone at home in the disaster, that spells more disaster for me later. :-(
