First of all, with all the windows down driving around town and occassionally under full boost w/ the radio off, how loud should we hear our turbos spooling? Mine seem loud which is ok with me, I just want to make sure I'm not mistaking it for the turbo lady coming to visit. The diverter valves are fine, I'm NOT hearing any of the atmospheric release of the pressure as we would when those go bad.
Second, if I'm hearing any whinning coming from the front of the car when backing out my parking spot in the garage at work and turning the wheels, indication of the power steering pump possibly? I know it will mke the noise when cranked all the way, this is more 3/4 of the full turn and just very slight noise. Any thoughts and help would be much appreciated! TIA!

I'm pretty sure its normal. As for the turbo noise, I just replaced my DV's with 710N's and I've noticed that since the 710N's were put on, the turbos dont whistle as loud as the old 710A's (which had 98k on them) did while accelerating. I also noticed that when releasing the throttle at a high RPM the turbos dont chirp as loud as they used to. How many miles do you have, and are your DV's stock?

It has 46k; the DVs are stock but had been replaced in the past by dealer(warranty); other thoughts?
