NEQ Winter Driving Event
The North East Region Quattro Club (NEQ) held a Winter Driving School in conjunction with the Adirondack Motor Enthusiast Club (AMEC). The AMEC has completed 44 years of ice racing. They shared the ice with the NEQ on Saturday February 21 with the AMEC racing event on Sunday. Event Master Art Mayhew worked with Chief Instructor Alan Bellavance and the AMEC team to design a program which consisted of a braking and slalom exercise, a skid pad and a 1.5 mile road course on beautiful Canadarago Lake, just south of Richfield Springs NY. The weather was perfect with blue skies much of the day and temperatures around 30. The snow on the lake was about six inches with snow banks of only about a foot high. Ice was about 14 inches thick. Participants could drive with little fear of hurting them or their car. Many drivers though this was the most fun that they ever had at any event.

Mike, did you need more instructors like Bruce's e-mail? Date was last Saturday?
This post announcement reads like a past tense event.
Several NAAC instructors didn't get the copy from Bruce.
