New Hampshire folks ......question........
Any major road work underway on I-93, Rte. 112 (Kancamagus Hwy.) or Rte. 16 (from Conway to Pinkham Notch)?
I'm finally getting around to doing my Mt. Washington Drive.

Rt. 16 LOL
I live in Conway and Rt 16 through conway and North Conway is under major construction. Stay away from it at all costs. There is also serious traffic that goes along with it. Use the new North South Road if you are familiar with it to detour rt 16 in North Conway

Dayum, the whole purpose of my "family" trip to N.H. was to drive the Kancamagus and ...........
the Mt. Washington Auto Road to the top (for the bumper sticker).
Is the road work related to the flooding this past Fall?

short cut around north conway . . . .
take the kanc from rte 93 and follow it almost all the way to conway. bear notch rd will go off to the left. there aren't many turn offs and this is marked. follow that rd all the way to i think its rte 302 at attitash ski area. turn right couple o miles rejoin rte 16 past the conways fun ride too.

I'm heading up this Tuesday, the 22nd and will be staying in Bretton Woods for a couple of days. So going straight to the 302 will work out perfect for me. I'm not sure yet if I'll do the Kanc. on the trip up or the trip back.
