Due to lack of interest (very few definite confirmations) the GTG is canceled. Although we had quite a few interested a few months ago, my guess is many of those who WERE interested are going to the New Hampshire GTG this Saturday.

We'll try again in the spring!

I thought the turnout looked good from the initial replies.

THere have to be other Audi folks out in Western MA, Northern CT, and Southern VT. Maybe you need to reach out to that crowd specifically.

I think weekend GTGs are difficult for many of us with families and/or work full-time. However, I don't mind stealing a few hours to blow some steam after work! Easier to justify with the family.

Again, sorry to hear that you are calling it off. Next time, maybe reach out to other forums as well, including Audizine, Audi Forums, VW Vortex, etc., and you might see more responses!

I posted in Audizine, Audiforums, and Fourtitude. I had nearly 20 interested responses on this forum in August when I came up with the idea, and abou ten from other forums. 30 would have been cool as hell!

My follow-up threads last week received ZERO replies.

I get the point about weekends....but weeknights are tough for anyone to travel.

I may see if I can build a small Western MA and Northern CT group- and I would really like to put together a sizeable GTG in the spring....including people from all over NE.

Just a heads up though, we also do one in the spring - looks like this year it will be mid May. We had about 50 this past year so its another big one.

Took my car in for service, a coolant leak and other fluids replaced. He told me and I checked the board. Oh well, maybe next time.
