Default Paging Ray Khan...couple BT questions

I recently installed a bigger turbo (GT2X with Mika sw) in my 1.8T and am experiencing some pretty bad drivetrain lash off throttle after going into boost, far more actually compared to when I was chipped. Can this be attributed to the software, or is my only option to spring for the DTS? I already have the APR snub, and that doesn't seem to be helping at all.

I've only driven the car for about an hour with this setup (wanted to get back early for the sox game), but I've lost all confidence in my cornering. I'm just plain scared of the car losing stability when modulating the throttle.

So I'm curious if you are living with this on your gt28rs, or if there is something I can do about this issue.

cheers
shawn

Default I would say if you dont have the DTS, get it.

My 2.8 was sloppy like a hooker in chinatown as far as drivetrain movement and it was stock (my motor mounts were fine)

Can't be good for my back =)

Seriously how have you been? I haven't talked to you in over a year. Still rocking the gap =b

Any day after 5:30 is good, and weekends are pretty much free as well. I assume you aren't in worcester anymore right? Let me rephrase, I hope you aren't. Cell number still the same?

Default HIJACK! Hey, you still have not claimed your prize from the Waltham GTG...

"Dirty Car" award!

I still have the T-shirt. Either we can hook up sometime soon so you can grab it, or you can "donate" it back to the prize pool for the upcoming Burlington GTG.

Let me know

Default Shawn, if you have time this weekend, you can drive my car for comparison

you have to refresh my memory, what year is your car? DBW non driveability is amplified a little with a big turbo. I get an intermidtent vehicle speed sensor DTC that creates havoc on drivability. This has happened 2 or 3 times in the 5+ years I've had this car.

Default Saturday before the Red Sox game works for me

My car is nDBW btw. I'd actually really like for you to drive my car to hear your opinions on some other "issues" I am having related to the turbo.

cheers
