Noticed you are signed up for the autox event on April 22. Since it looks like we might be the only Audi drivers, wanted to meet up with you there so we can defend against the haters together.

I'd definately like to meet up with you there. I've been doing the BMW events for a few years now. Have you been to any before? Do you know if we are in the same class?

The RS4 does not appear on any of the charts, so I think they might group me with the S4 (which would be great for me!).

I have done my fair share of autoxing, but not with the BMW CCA, so I probably won't know anyone.

My buddy is comng with his G35 (rookie). We were planning on driving from Quincy Sat afternoon and staying at a hotel nearby, but everything is booked. So we may drive from Quicny Sun am unless I can find something in the next few days. Being the only two Audi's, I'm sure we'll see each other. I'm going to show up pretty early since my friend has never done anything like this before and I want him to have plenty of time to feel comfortable.

BWMcca takes all "Non-Bmw's" and puts them into 6 classes.

Class G Stock, street tires
Class H Stock, R compound tires
Class I Non-stock, street tires, SCCA Street Modified or Street Prepared classes
Class L Non-stock, street tires, SCCA Street Touring classes
Class J Non-stock, R compound tires
Class M Modified or race cars


Then they apply the scca pax modifiers on everyones times to determine class winners.

So, if you're RS4 is stock / Street tire you'll be in G, with everyone else who is stock / street tire, be they Honda, Audi, Subi, etc.

I'm going to be in L with my Mazdaspeed.

They use the SCCA rulebook to determine whether you fall into Touring, pepared, modified, etc.

I only went to 2 events, one in the Audi and one in my mk1 Rabbit. I don't think I met you last year. Driving the Mazda this year? I'll try to remember to say hi to you.
