they have done a lot of work on my 4.2. Very trustworthy in my opinion.

I believe EPL is getting away from maintence work and trying to stick to just tuning cars.

Default You are correct. Tony mentioned the same thing to me a week or so ago as well.

Great place for tuning and mods though!

Default Tony's Imported Auto in Manchester, CT are great guys.

Just recommended them to two people, both of which will be return customers :-)

Default Probably a good strategy for them. It is amazing how many people are looking for timing belts.

Sometimes I think I could quit my job and live quite well on a steady diet of timing belt replacement work.

Default maybe a side job... one every month... 500 bucks labor... say 12 a year

that would pay for some mods

Default Overpriced.

Try the shop behind the VW dealer just over the Canton line on Rt44 (Cheryl Drive)...called Valley Imported Auto or something like that. They serviced my VWs during high school in the early 90s and do good work for a reasonable price.
