Recs for an inexpensive body shop to do some basic work? Maybe even a detailer would work?

Default Recs for an inexpensive body shop to do some basic work? Maybe even a detailer would work?

Some [f-bomb]ing idiot who doesn't know how to [f-bomb]ing stay in his [f-bomb]ing lane clipped me on the way to work this morning. Fortunately (I think), he was in a truck with big tires, so aside from breaking my mirror, it looks like all he did was coat my fender and bumper with rubber. It looks like it will buff out.

I'm not looking to screw this guy over, but I do want this fixed. Any recs for an inexpensive body shop where I could bring the car? Hopefully one near Natick?

Default

would you be happy with an inexpensive job? I know that doesn't always mean crappy but...

Default I don't think any paint work is needed. It looks like the rubber will buff right off

For paint work, I wouldn't want the cheapest guy. I figure that buffing is basic enough that almost any shop can do it.

Default be careful

If you are a nice guy and victim, the responsible party will and can get amnesia very quickly.

Try Brigham Gill at rt9/rt 27. I was there 2 days ago, ask for Sam. His shop has steady work, but if he sees that you also have an Audi and you know me (Mo) he can help you in a non insurance deal.

Default I had my dSLR with me, so the other guy can get amnesia if he wants but it won't help him

He was a nice enough guy so I'm not looking to screw him over, but I'm not looking to get screwed over myself either.

I'll see if I can stop by Brigham Gill tonight. I'll be in that area anyway, so hopefully I can get there before they close.
