First of all, I know that I don't post in this forum much, but the few guys who do know me here know I am a longtime Audi enthusiast in western MA.

I've been trying to find a car that was bought out from under me three or four years ago. I have a VIN, have done a CarFax, and have the owner's current town (or at least where it was last registered).

I'd REALLY like to be able to get in touch with the owner. I'm no stalker...far from it. I'd just like to be in touch, as I have a twin car, and want to make sure that he knows if he ever wants to sell that I am very interested.

If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Get in touch and I'll give you the VIN, etc.

Does the carfax show local ownership and inspections?? Mite show new title numbers, etc...

Years ago I actually got a 1st owner address of a car which I feared had a faulty odometer. Someone at the downtown RMV actually gave me the info hehe.. 10 years ago before all the uber hyper privacy laws...
