Track-day open house Saturday, February 28th
Several area car clubs are hosting a track-day open house at Apex Automotive Engineering in Marlborough, MA on Saturday, February 28th starting at 10:00 am.
Like-minded car enthusiasts will be available to talk about various options for autocross, track days or full-out racing. Representatives from local clubs will be present to help you get started on the road to performance driving with your street car. We'll also have information on car prep and equipment needed to do this in a safe manner.
If you have specific questions or just want to talk cars, come on down.
This is also a perfect opportunity to learn about the combined Driving School/Time Trial that NAAC are doing with COMSCC at Mont-Tremblant. The Time Trial allows the student to "compete" against other students without the risks associated with wheel-to-wheel racing. A time trial is essentially a race against the clock. In a format similar to autocrossing, each participant makes timed runs around the track (with no other cars near them on the track), and these times are compared against other drivers competing in similar types of vehicles. Finishing order is determined by lap times, with the lowest time being the "winner".
