I drive 128 north in the morning and around 7:30 there was a silver TT convertible on a flatbed on the southbound side with a cop, a fire truck and one of those courtesy vans.

Anyone know what was up? I didn't see any fire damage.

It was my boss's. Not an AW'er. He couldn't avoid a piece of metal in the road, hit it, pulled over after the loud noise, and found that the gas tank was leaking. So he called the cops and then you drove by.

Sucks as he has not had great luck with that car.

Sorry to hear about your boss' luck with the TT. My 2001 TT coupe 225 was perhaps the most reliable car I ever owned, and I enjoyed it very much.

Unfortunately (well, maybe fortunately) I had to replace it last september with a 2006 S4 due to my son getting too large for the back seat of the TT.
