What Radar Detectors are you all using?
Always been a big fan of the V1 and used one a number of times before, but people on the B6 forum keep suggesting the Escort 8500. Any personal experience or thoughts one way or the other?

8500 X50 Blue Edition --> its a faster radar color than red .... =)
i wont start the fight with the diehard lovers that say silver IS the fastest color paint job too, cause DENIAL isn't just a river in Egypt...!

Spent ~6 months in the former East in Dresden a few years back for school...
had an absolute blast and look forward to going back sometime soon. Toured the VW Phaeton factory there...so much for that.
Haven't heard of that movie...what's it about?
Road closed is from near my parents house in Smuggler's Notch, up in VT. The close off the road through the notch to Stowe during the winter every year, usually from like Novemberish until it's clear in the spring.
