Default 2001 Allroad 2.7T no start!

Hi everyone, I am new to forums entirely! Never posted anything before in my life so bare with me... I have a 2001 Allroad That has been sitting in storage for almost a year now. I bought the car and it drove great for 2 weeks.. Then I had a random misfire on all cylinders one day after starting it and driving on my way to work. Checked CEL's and it threw P0300. Figured it was my Ignition control modules so I switched them to try and find which one was faulty. Found a extra set (from another car) Installed to see if I would have good luck.. and it has not started since.. It cranks fine but nothing firing. Checked front timing like 10 times to make sure I did not jump. Checked out fine. I know I have heard about the fuel pump ,coolant temp sensor, the camshaft position sensor but have not yet replaced any of these. It smelled like I'm getting gas but have not pulled lines or fuel rail to check for sure. Im just tying to figure out if I should point my self towards a electrical gremlin or start thinking about rear timing?? Or if anyone has had the same issue on their 2.7T.. Kinda of at a lost here.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just want to have this thing running because well.. its a gorgeous car and it deserves to run!
