Hi All, Greetings from down under.. Jumped in the car to zip down to the shops 2km drive on arrival i noticed some smoke coming from under the hood and a burning rubber odour and then a metal grinding with a high pitch,
Lifited the bonnet smoke was coming from the passenger side timing cover my heat stopped thinking the timing belts snapped
Got the car trailed home and have just taken off the covers
please check out the pics it appears the belt has moved and started rubbing hence the smoke.
Questions: Has it done internal damage, can you recommend a kit including water pump etc that's available in Australia

the belt is out of its track a little bet try to release the belt tensioner then push the belt inside then tighten the belt tensioner again and ur issue will be solved
