Default Acceleration problem after engine replacement

Hello everyone,

i have a 2001 audi TT. Prior owner overtorqued mounting bolts leading motor to shake loose, timing belt to break and engine to blow up.

i have now replaced the motor, installed new clutch kit and reset throttle body and went thru ignition reset process. In addition i have replaced the diverter valve.

The problem is that the car does not accelerate properly. Starts up, sounds great but has very little power, as if throttle body remains closed. Very slow to get up to speed.

Can anyone recommend possible issues? I get no codes with cable.

Does chip need to be reset or what should be my next steps? I hate to pay a dealer or shop for something that ends up to be a simple solution.

THANK YOU!!

Mike

There is very little activity on this board. You may want to post your question on the TT board.
