Hello I have just bought a mk 1 TT and it only came with one key which started the car but the buttons on key would not activate the central locking / boot lid.

So off I went to uk dealer and bought the key and got them to programme it to the car but they can only get the new key to start the car and they can't get the fob to activate the central locking system (same as old key) and advised that there is a problem with the car and I should book it back in so they can have another look but with the prices they charge am hoping someone on here can give me some advise.
