Hey Everybody,
Its been a while since my last visit here but need some info from my fellow Audi owners,wife has an 07 quattro 2.0 turbo B7 platform, any way just recently noticed start-up has been a bit labored and a bit noisy. Took a voltage reading off of battery 12.45 volts and while running 13.63 volts
voltage dropped to 11.28 while starter engaged. Readings seem a bit low to me,battery is maybe a couple years old but starter and alternator are very much older.Also recently on cold start the starter will make unusual noise and then quit once the engine is running.I was leaning to starter failure or beginning to fail but wanted feedback to confirm that is the case.
