We just purchased a 2018 Premium Plus Q5, black on brown. Our first Audi ever - and only my second European car (I briefly owned a 90s Volvo 740 wagon). It's only been a month and it's definitely a so-far, so-good proposition. This replaces my wife's 2008 Cadillac SRX (which we loved) and it beat out the Cadillac XT5 and a few others in our shopping experience. Given that we've been loyal Cadillac owners since 2004, the Audi had an uphill battle - but its price, performance, and features won us over. We did get the extended warranty (8 years) as Audi's have a reputation up here that justified that for us.

Thanks. We've had it almost a month now and my wife loves it. My daily driver is my '10 Cadillac CTS and I will be in the market in the next year or two. The A6 made my shortlist when I bought the CTS and it likely will again. I like the A5 Sportback as well but find that the headroom is woefully insufficient - I just can't get comfortable in one and I blame the headroom-robbing sunroof. Not an issue in the Q5 though.
