I purchased a night blue Audi with about ~120,000 miles. I knew it had quite a few issues when I purchased it, but I wanted something to work on. If I am allowed to, I am going to post what issues the car came with and what I spent so far to fix them. Outside of this odd shoop shoop, shoop shoop noise and a code that quickly cleared itself (P0024 Exhaust Camshaft Position Timing - Over-Advanced - Bank 2), I haven't had any unexpected (added < 1 QT 0W-30 and a little G-12 once so far) engine issues. I assumed I would have to do an engine rebuild when I bought the car. I can't hear the noise when the fan is running so I am honestly not 100% sure when it started or what is it.

Issues when purchased:
- eBay $494.99 - control arms bad (still in the mail so not changed yet)
- eBay $34.99 - Bose sub missing
- AutoRimShop $800.00 - All wheels scratched (car had polished with charcoal in the rear and the other three were polished. Once polished with charcoal was destroyed by a local rim restore shop $125 blown and the other I might restore myself as a project and use as the spare. The other three polished I may restore myself and purchase one more polished from AutoRimShop to have an extra set.)
- DVD changer magazine missing (can't find :-( to save my life) There is a DVD changer with cassette on eBay for $350 but I don't have that for a DVD player right now.
- eBay $63.75 - driver's side rear door lock button not working (just arrived today and same color as car, but taking my very sweet time taking the door apart.)
- eBay $2.95 - windshield wiper arm nut cap missing
- eBay $73.60 for stems & $119.80 for sensors - TPMS malfunctioning - looking at the rubber valve stems, looks like the receivers were removed (can't install - long story short got the wrong wheel)
- $10.34 - License plate lights don't work (installed LEDs)
- Pull-A-Part ~$3.00 - Fuel cap light came on shortly after I bought the car
- Trunk opening doesn't work without help & closing works ~50%of the time
- eBay $12.74 - The 1 key that came with the car is beat up with panic button missing (new key doesn't have panic button at all but it looks a little better for now)
- eBay $66.99 - Parking brake switch broken (metal piece broke off)
- rear seat armrest stuck closed (got it open, but found the metal release handle is missing)
- RSE not working (I confirmed the screens work and power is going to the DVD changer)
- $0.00 fix (1A fuse) - dash lights including ashtray not working
- seat belt receiver plastic/trim missing on passenger side rear seat
- middle seat belt trim (below rear window) missing
- spare tire cover/handle missing
- battery cover latches missing
- $0.00 fix - inner trunk lights disconnected/not working
- eBay $29.99 - driver sun visor hook missing
- driver sun visor magnified mirror broken
- $0.00 fix - rear window sun shade stuck
- Walmart $20.00 - headlights a foggy
- $0.00 fix - windshield trim at bottom partially detatched
- eBay $32.99 - alarm sound not working
- eBay $11.95 (purchased DVD for 2016 NA) - Original 2004 Navigation


Issues I caused:
- $0.00 - Airbag light (I disconnected the front passenger airbag to check aftermarket Mobridge module which still isn't working and turned the car on while airbag was still disconnected)
- JimEllis Audi $308.40 - Broke two air hoses while changing all of the spark plugs (part 07C103641K & 07C103283A).

On a possible good note, just found out the car has JL C5-650s in the rear door that I am working on...
