Hello All,
I picked up a 2015 Audi A6 3.0T Ibis White Exterior / Velvet Beige Interior with 23,500 miles on it now.
Already learned a lot from the forum (VCDS coding related so far) and willing to share if able.
Thanks to the forum, I've already purchased a RossTech VCDS and performed the following:
1. Gauge Needle Sweep
2. VIM
3. Double Chrip when Unlocking
4. Green Menu
5. Lap Timer
6. Remote Window Closing
7. Disable beeping when entering data at higher speeds (nav input)
Things done that I may be able to assist others with:
1. C7 MMI Firmware and Navi Database Update (US / Canada / Mexico Region)

thanks for the warm welcome.
Additional VCDS coding / adaptations performed:
Turned on adaptive brake lights (flashing blinkers + brake lights on a hard stop)
Turned on Efficiency mode (I do see MPG improvement, but my car is less fun to drive; therefore, I don't use this mode often)
Mirrorscreening setup (cheap alt route - not carplay)
Hardware: Chromecast, musou video converter (hdmi to rca), male to male rca adapters x3, rca to ami plug (audi or amazon knock offs all work fine), 2 USB plug Cig power cord (plugs in the chromecast + musou video converter box)
Wifi setup: get 2 phones, turn 1 phone's hotspot on (primary phone that you intend to watch vids / listen to music with), use other phone to setup chromecast to this hotspot (both this phone and chromecast should be setup/connected to the hotspot). Once wifi setup is complete, you can ditch the 2nd phone and mirror connect anytime going forward (as long as you turn on your hotspot on your primary phone). Music / videos can be played using the phone that is hosting the chromecasts hotspot .
My personal thoughts on this setup:
Quality isn't the best, but it serves its purpose (without the need to spend $400+ for a carplay module + diy install efforts)
Connectivity will depend on your carriers service area (I have Sprint and they suck - lots of buffering / lost connections depending on the area)
