I bought brand new Q7 and 6 months later at only 8000km. 5 lights came on my dashboard indicating failure of multiple safety features at once. From the local dealership they promised to fix the issue in one day by updating software. They called me at the end of the day to report to me that they couldn't finish the job and need the car for an extra day.
I picked it up next day and the vehicle was never the same ! It wasn't stopping properly, the red triangle, the beeping warning and automatic braking disappeared....but I didn't know all that until the first time I had to do emergency stopping. I was doing 35 km/hour in city on wet road when I hit my brakes suddenly to avoid a collision! The car only gently slowed down, ABS did not engage, no warnings or braking from the car itself and the airbags did not deploy after a front end collision! The impact was significant enough to cause $45 000 in damage and the vehicle was written off by my Insurance company. At the time of the accident the car was at 16 000 km. And 1 year old!
Anyone with similar experience?
Has anyone heard of any official recalls by Audi on Pre Sense?
