I was driving this morning in full comfort settings (which is rare) and I decided to put the pedal down a little bit. When I gave it gas the car started redlining and refused to shift for about 2 seconds, then lost power to where I could only steer and brake (keep in mind I was doing 85mph in traffic), which in turn led to the engine light continuously blinking for around 5 seconds. The car allowed me to regain control after 5 seconds and the engine light warning went away. I almost 100% sure its a transmission issue, but I would like to know if anything similar has happened to any other Audis in general.
