Hello, looking for some help here. I have a service due alert on my car. I recently got an oil change and about a day later the message appeared. I was able to go into the MMI and reset but the message reappeared. I then took it to the place that changed my oil and he hooked up I believe the vag com, the message went away and then the 2nd ignition start it appeared again. Any ideas on what to try next?? Did the mechanic possibly not clear it right??

That happened on my VW Golf. Did you service the car at a dealership or personal mechanic? I feel like if you took the car into the dealership, they might know how to turn that notifcation off? I didn't do my oil change at the dealership either, which is probably why i still have the notification on mine.
