After some research, I believe Sean did...
When all of the changes were made in 2003, we put the site on our servers, but we were never given transfer of the URL registration to Lloyd & I as owners.
I did the research with Lloyd & our server provider Kineda. Lloyd & I never had ownership of the URL, only its content, so we couldn't renew anything.
Having said that, the site will soon be found at www.norcalaudi.com

Found out the details...
Sean no longer uses the email address that Wild West Domain had on file..he therefore was not reminded of the domain name renewal. We just paid for another 2 years..so now both Norcalaudiclub.org AND Norcalaudi.com will go to the same website. We should be set for awhile now.
