You can use it and update the profile later...if it doesnt detect the box, then they track you down

and tow your car.

Since you have no LP, then they really cant track you down.

I agree too honest. But if you are really concerned, then just take your old plates and put them on

your new car. At least they'll be able to track you down if the transponder doesn't work properly. Although, I'm not sure what the consequences there would be if you got pulled over for the wrong plates.
