Definitely in your favor. Pull the survey. If to your advantage. exploit it. And
cross your fingers that the court date is on the cops day off and he lives too far away to deal with it, esp as he will know you are taking him to task.

I plan to do this. I'll be reasonable and concise, so it doesn't look like ...
... I've got an axe to grind or am being defensive. I come across well in that regard, disarming cops and officials by my style. Then, I still have a chance at traffic school or even a court date (but I probably wouldn't do that if the "by mail" approach fails).
