I am now working at Rector Motor Car Company in Burlingame, California.
I'm happy to be back working with the award winnning Service Manager Dennis Dolen and the best group of techs.
Please don't hesitate to contact me directly. I would be honored to continue helping you with your service needs. Even though the added distance may be a factor for some of you, I will make it worth your while.
Thank you and I look forward to helping you.
Best,
George DeMar II

they have needed A LOT of help at Rector... (warning, long rant - nothing bad about George)
I actually had such an unpleasant experience/waste of time with Rector a while back, that upon complaining (wrote a 3 page letter to properly explain the crap), the owner called me a day after he had some major surgery to apologize and see how to fix it. Have to say, had the worst dealership experience outside one mega-bad experience with Commonwealth in SoCal (sorry April, it was a car you sold me in back in 2000 - not that you had anything to do with the lack-luster service dept there.)
I hope you get make some real change there - they have needed help! I also hope they are paying you well; in chatting with people, I found that they had really been under-paying across the board - hence the attrition and low level of service/commitment/customer care.
Congrats and best of luck!
PS
Sorry, the service thing really gets me going; Audi corp and dealerships should take the time to experience owning a Mercedes or BMW, heck a Lexus or Infinity... the Audi dealers don't get the corporate support they need to truly take care of customers and be competitive - yet the cars are similarly positioned in the market. Audi is having a tough time clawing away from the Volkswagen mentality. I hear it's even worse in Europe.
My rant about Audi customer experience - I love the cars, I love Quattro - period. No love for the rest at all. Sorry to add this rant and taint your happy post about your new job. again, all the best to you there, and I hope they let you do a great job

every dealer has its rants and raves...
i personally like carlsen, many on here don't.
just because i had a good experience at X dealer, doesn't mean everyone else will.
many have had a good experience with rector, i never went as carlsen is closer.
i did however go to stevens creek when it was andersen behel, many praised it. i had an awful experience and stuck to carlsen.
luck of the draw i guess.

I went to Carlsen once when I first came out here.
never went back.
I let Stevens Creek an earful on the last customer satisfaction call though. Get to visit again after having the car back all of 4 days. Still leaking something....
