Couple of issues with the city. The weather is not good, very foggy/windy and much colder than
the surrounding areas. The roads are terrible, not much parking, and super expensive. The homeless people are everywhere! They are constantly begging for money, and give the city are somewhat slummy feel. The upside it is European, you can walk to great restaurants/movies/bars/etc.. You really have to decide what you want. The biggest issue is the cost of the whole Bay Area... can you make enough to live decently here?
