Default Moving to the Bay Area....

Folks:

Moving from Boston to San Jose, really looking forward to it! Just wanted to tap fellow AW'ers for some advice:

-Reputable Dealership in or around Silicon Valley? (Stevens Creek?)
-Good route for scenic weekend drive?
-Nightlife? Any clubs/bars/restaurants you care to recommend? Santana Row?

Thanks in advance for your feedback! Look forward to some get together's!

Jack

Default A few thoughts...

Santana Row is cool IF you like loud, crowded, active places to hang out on a weekend. If you more prefer a more laid back style, this isnt your place. Its the place people go just to be seen, if thats not your scene, Id stay away, particularly on weekends. Had a really nice dinner ruined when the restaurant turned into a nightclub mid-meal...

Personally, Stevens Creek has always done right by me, but it seems people either like it or really dont. If its convienent, I would say give them a try for "in warranty" work. Otherwise, you have great shops like Streetwerke, M&M, Autowerkstat... I suck at spelling tonight...

For scenic drives, it depends what you like, but you can find it all here. Highway 1 is breathtaking.

Default Thanks for all the suggestions...

Now to pick out the car...selling my A4 in Boston. Probably looking at Stevens Creek Audi for a new one, unless anyone can suggest a better stealership.

Cheers!
