Need something like this... |
Nu Image on Steven's Creek is more modern, but seems reasonably priced and comfy stuff.
We got a dining table and chairs from them. Not absolute top quality, but better than most places and the price was good. We custom ordered the finish and fabric. Lots of catalogs too.<ul><li><a href="http://www.nuimagefurniture.com/">http://www.nuimagefurniture.com/</a</li></ul>

Giorgi Bros - south sf. Excellent.

this will sound weird but check your local Costco.
I've seen them sell Natuzzi furniture (italian brand) that looks very similar in style and color to what you have pictured but at Costco prices. Otherwise, expect to shell out some serious $$$$$ at Room & Board.

We're pretty satisfied with this piece we got from Restoration Hardware
Actually very comfortable to sit on for a sofa bed.<ul><li><a href="http://www.restorationhardware.com/rh/catalog/product/product.jsp;jsessionid=YRJFJ0F5LRWMDLAWCUASAOVMCYL QCH20?productId=prod1186007&navCount=3">Link to Sofa</a></li></ul>

agreed! i bought my sofabed from there. LOVE Giorgi Bros...
they even delivered to me the next day.
|
lol...you mean more reasonable then roche bobois...
well...it really depends on what you buy there, it's a mix bag and they're both very helpful and very knowledgable.
my problem is i want that della robia sectional but don't want to shell out $10k (and bruise my shins). |
what's your budget?
setting a ceiling of $4k and judging from that picture you posted here are my pics:
z gallerie - everywhere, closest would be santana row or palo alto macy's furniture - valley fair scandinavian designs - 2 locations in cupertino you might as well check out crate & barrel pottery barn restoration hardware and if you really want to dig: artesanias - san francisco all world furniture - sunnyvale - more modern then traditional (like nuimage or DWR) room & board room & company and if you got millions under your mattress: ligne roset - i don't think you'll like any of their stuff though. gluck. |
Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn has pretty good leather chairs.

This better not be Mary v2.0... :-P
