Default Yes - like the Laser Trap setup on Moorpark in the 40->35->40 zone to catch the unwary

It's all just there to catch gross speeders ... not at all about revenues ... right.

I actually thought you were smarter than this.

Default I thought the only way to get a 11-99 plate was through a referral ?

It doesn't say anything about getting a plate for a donation.

Default newp. you pay for it.

and here i was thinking you were smarter then this.

the KLA1449 or whatever lic frames are given by law enforcement to friends and famil, the 11-99 frames are bought, same with FOP and most sheriff stuff.

if you spent a fraction of the time you did putting together that cute little map of yours you would of figured this out. however i saved you the work so you can keep working on that little project of yours.

Yeah, those are good ones. I see people getting tickets almost every day there.

Default i don't find the need to avoid law enforcement, nor the need to break speed limits.

what are you trying to prove VR? that you can avoid neighborhood kids and dogs like cones on an autocross track in your new automatic 997?

please. obey the rules and stop giving us so called 'enthusiasts' such a bad rap.

Default You have it all wrong.

I have to respectfully disagree with your judgement in posting this response. I have been an 11-99 member for a very long time. The reasons I joined were two fold: I have friends that have lost their lives working as CHP officers, and I believe that supporting the CHP, we can keep bad drivers off the road.

With that being said, you should not think of this foundation as a way to "get yourself out of tickets." In fact, it was this very attitude that makes the sight of an 11-99 plate no longer valid. You can see them on every kind of car from Priuses to Ferraris, and the only reason you will see them on low end cars is because they heard a "rumor" that it will get you out of speeding tickets on the CA highways. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed that benefit plenty of times...that is until people started publicly announcing it as you just did.

All I ask is that you respect this foundation and do not advertise it as a way to get yourself out of tickets or "buy your fun."
