May 4th is the day to be alive this year. 40s is kicking off its 6th annual GTG. If you are new to the show, it is the chillest, most laid back show in the East with some of most unique and high quality cars around. Since we don't focus on Stance alone, we avoid the riprap. Euro cars ONLY please. The show is FREE, and we pledge to keep it that way. Please support our efforts by participating in our raffle, or purchasing a shirt or beer glass.

Don’t forget about the special feature at nightfall. The giant drive in size outdoor “Euro Speed Theater” will be in full effect. Of course the normal campfire, beer pong etc will also be in effect. Giant 1981 VW dealer sign will light your way around.

As usual we are raffling off a WHOLE car. Tickets will be $10 each or 3 for $ 20 just like last year. The subject is a nice little 92 Mk2 Jetta 4 door 5 speed. Red.... 70K miles on odometer. Clean title.
Grey tweed interior. Raffle winner takes possession of the title immediately or can hold his/her own auction on site if they are not interested in the car for themselves. Last years winner sold his car for $ 800 so there is money to be made if you have no interest in owning another car.

We will be selling unique T-shirts with a sweet Caddy print on the rear and the 40's logo on the front. Again, the show is free, so please support a great event by participating in the raffle and/or the shirts. We are also adding some sweet beer pints this year.

CAMPING - This year we have secured a whole adjacent field for camping. Camping out is perhaps the most chill part of 40's and much needed format that your more commercial shows lack. We all know how it feels to stand in the Sun all day and then drive home several hours from a car show. Enjoy staying the night and meeting some new friends.

Bounce House for the little enthusiasts. We love kids at 40's. We have them too... They are the future of our sport and they need some fun too. Bounce house is free. Please watch your kids while they bounce....

WHO?
Audi and VW enthusiasts….. This is not a stance show…..We are looking for unique and clean VW and Audi models. I am not interested in Hondas, Jeeps, etc unless it is something super unique, and no S2000′s are really not that unique. Come to have a good time. Old friends, New friends, Lost Friends. Cars bring together the best in all of us. If you know some cool people that would enjoy this kind of show and have cool cars to bring, best tell them about this.

ENTRY FEE?
Yes… You are required to bring a 40 oz in a bag and your SHOW car. Failure to bring a large beverage will result in a mandatory donation fee of $ 5. For the youngsters or people that don’t appreciate the delicate, refreshing flavors of malt liquor, you can bring alternative beverages of similar size.
AND – Grilling items. We will need all the meat we can eat.
Bring beers as well. We are way out in the woods. There is no beer run after 6pm. There is a store 1 mile away which sold out on all beer last year so do bring some. I will be alerting them to high beer sales on this day and urging them to stock more. They close at 6pm.
Bring chairs, tents, sleeping bags, flashlights etc.

NO WAY NO HOW OR YOU WILL BE BANNED - Stuff that just has to be said. Leave your beefs at home. You got beef with anyone, give it a day of rest. We love everyone here. NO burnouts at the end of my driveway. I live here, it looks lame for me. NO donuts in my showfield. It is dangerous and stupid. This is a STATIC display show. Limit your movement of your vehicles once you enter the show field. NO burning crosses. ( yeah that happened once ) NO under any circumstances do you leave drunk. The cops are waiting for you. 600 cars in a field where normally big deer bucks stand the rest of the year on a county road in a town with nothing going on, Yeah you are a sitting duck. Don't even think about leaving drunk.

CAMPING is only for those whom attended the SHOW. Show ends at 6pm. Those who stay after that stay the night. Those who didn't come, missed out. Gates close. This is not a party for Joey and his 4 bimbo girlfriends in tube tops, falling out of a Dodge Neon with a bad muffler and opaque headlights who happened to get tossed from the cool kids party down the road. No Sir. The experience is not for them. It is for us, like minded, twisted in the head, Dub to the core, enthusiasts whom live, breath, sleep VW and don't waiver under any circumstances from what they love.
